This was my first time climbing down in to the pool. I had to look around and see if Mommy was still there. When I found her, I decided to keep going.

kick kick kick
I thought Emma wanted me to give her five. I guess she just wants me to keep my legs straight. When she told me to get in the water I wasn't sure I wanted to without Mommy or Daddy, but then I decided to be brave.
Ok, maybe this won't be so bad. I'll do what Emma says.
I get to take swim lessons with my friend, Jack! ( sometimes known as Jack Jack. ) I'm glad he's in my class.

Hey check out my first swim lesson. Mommy thought we would create a swim blog for me, in case someday I'm a big swimmer like Daddy, and his family :)
It took my instructor, Emma, a couple minutes to convince me that everything would be OK, but then I decided to try.
